Its Finals Time

With 2 periods of play complete, we have SVC leading Trinity International by 3. After 1 period of play, SVC lead Trinity by 3, 14-11. The same difference separated them after the second as well, 30-27 still in favor of SVC. Trinity had 3 players pick up 2 fouls in the first quarter and they only have a total of 7 players available so they need to play solid defense with their feet, which they did in the second quarter. When SVC needed a score, they went to their top player, Trey Smith who hit consecutive buckets to extend the lead to 8 with a little over 2 1//2 remaining in the half. A nice little push and a couple buckets by Trinity allowed them to cut into the lead before half. The second half looks to be a good one.
